Imagine the chance of living and working in the heart of London with a stunning view over the river Thames.As a Relationship Manager (Jr.) you act as point of contact for all business related to customers of Rabobank Group in The Netherlands operating in or out the UK & Ireland. In this role you will be further responsible for maintaining and expanding i) client contacts and ii) our local network within relevant organizations in the UK & Ireland, in order to support (the subsidiaries of) our Rabobank clients to the max.
Making a difference
  • Pro-actively map and target clients of Rabobank Group in The Netherlands operating in the UK & Ireland and you will have the responsibility to increase the share of wallet with regard to international products and up-tier potential amongst those clients. When targeting and approaching clients you will support the client owners and the Outbound Desk, Loan Products Group and International Business Managers in the Netherlands;
  • Support to build long-term relationships with local management of our international active clients and improve client intimacy.
  • Coordinate all relevant processes regarding the international needs of our member bank and mid and large corporate clients in the region. You support the local deal captain for a smooth delivery of required services;
  • Do this as part of the Rabobank office in London and in liaison with the other International Desks all over the world.
  • You will report to the Head of the International Desk UK & Ireland, Dennis van Vugt.

International Business Advisory is responsible for realizing very ambitious international growth targets on market share and income rendered within the Rabobank International offices on clients located in The Netherlands; our Dutch client base.

You will be working at our London Office where we employ 600 employees with 25 different nationalities. With you as a Relationship Manager (Jr.), the team will consist of diverse colleagues in a variety of roles, including:

Customer support focus, commercial skills, high quality and result driven are clearly essential attributes for the role of Relationship Manager (Jr). In addition, it's important that you recognise everything in the checklist below:
  • You have a strong commercial and client support focus; are quality and result driven; and, have good analytical skills and are a good communicator;
  • You have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience on relationship management, credit and cash management products in a Corporate banking environment;
  • You have experience working in a multi-product environment and are able to offer an integral client solution;
  • You truly understand our customer needs and are able to think from their perspective to support in providing solutions;
  • You should have good financial, credit and legal contractual experience & understanding;
  • You are likely to have international/intercultural expertise;
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English.
